timing matters a lot, here're just a few things i've launched on farcaster that someone else launched later to better success: $spam -> $degen @sealcaster -> @anoncast farcantasy.xyz -> fantasy.top @mintit -> whatever frame/action you use nowadays to mint casts @gpt -> @aethernet the next thing you'll see made by someone else (not me) and blowing up on farcaster: /minimalist /castles /framelo next thing built by me? hehe, GONNA BE LEGENDARY you'll spend more time there than with any of my previous experiments amen

this is actually quite true, unless the team will want to uncover details that will make them end up in jail but no one wants to go to jail so no such details will be shared and from the outside it is evident and undisputable that @0xen is the architect and the main force behind the $degen success (again, if we don't see the details that we will frankly will never see so we can mark them irrelevant in this beef) @dwr.eth, knowing what he knows, is upset that the general populous does not recognize it (again, it's evident to him) β€” but you can't recognize what you don't see (or what is hidden on purpose from the general public) it hurts, but also it pretty much is irrelevant if the goal is for farcaster to succeed so drop this beef, neither @dwr.eth nor @0xen will ever be satisfied due to how asymmetric the info is

ok farcaster, let me introduce https://thefarcasterexperiment.com/ to you all basically, @dwr.eth claims that there were no breaking changes and only my stuff is broken or that neynar (cc @rish) had something broken well, let's test what @dwr.eth is saying. i launched a farcaster hub from ground up, then connected to it with official node js farcaster lib, then made @healthbot use this hub no third-party software. no me touching the backend, nodejs dependency or the hub let's see for how long this can last, i give it 2-3 months before there is a breaking change that makes me touch the code to make a thing as simple as publishing a cast every hour going again, all native farcaster hub stack, no extra dependencies, just something that "still works since the time it went permissionless" or whatever what are your bets? when will it break? this is a true stress-test of dev trust being broken or upheld

fpv you're trying to give candid feedback to the warpcast team on the dev trust issue and get laughed in the face

it really is to clarify: if i want to build something for farcaster today, the chances of it working without my intervention in 2-3 months are close to 0% it is exhausting and doesn't allow for supporting multiple small tools eventually this will lead to an army of dead products that are no longer supported and this will not look good from any point of view iterating is good breaking changes every few months are not
